WE MET WHEN I WAS ABOUT NINE…
WHEN I TRANSITIONED FROM STATE TO STATE..
NEVER THOUGHT ID FALL IN LOVE AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME..
BUT I GUESS YOU CAN SAY SHE WAS MY FIRST TRUE LOVE…
SHE WAS THERE WHEN MY GRANDMOTHER DIDN’T HAVE TIME FOR ME…
SHE HELD ME IN HER ARMS WHEN GRANDPA WAS TOUCHING ME…

What Is the National Poetry Awards?

The 1st National Purple Carpet Poetry Awards will be held in August 2010. This will be an awards ceremony that will finally award poets & spoken word artist as a whole. The concept is to bring all poets under one roof and award them for their works.
